I bought a 4 man tent from Makro yesterday - £40 + VAT for camping this weekend. Can't go wrong at that price!
Forgot to mention - my folks have a large frame tent that they want to sell - will sleep 5 easily. Email me if you like and I'll find out a price for you.

Hi Folks,
We are booked to go camping this Saturday with a crowd of friends, but the family that were going to lend us a tent have let us down.
The idea was to give it a try, and if everyone liked it then we'd buy one.
If anyone has one they could lend (for a few bottles of wine) or even one they want to sell (cheapish) we would be very pleased.
Need to fit in 3 kids 1,3 & 5 plus 2 adults.
I know its not really general, but its a bit urgent so please forgive me for posting here.
Cheers

Andy - if you have no luck I've got a large 3/4 man (although it might be a squeeze with all of you) and a little 2/3 man...I know the kids are probably too young to go on their own, but you could always do one adult in each.
Probably not the best solution, and it's a pain in the a*se taking two tents...but if you can't find anything else the offers there
Also - Blacks on Winchester High St do reasonable tents, although for a family size one it'd be over £100 at least
