Default Wedding photographer recommendations in Sussex?

We’re trying to draw up a short list of professional photographers in Sussex for our wedding next year. A search on Yell.com gives me a list of about 100 places to try. I was wondering if anyone on here was able to recommend someone?

I know this person isn't in Sussex but Paul's a great professional photographer and my neighbour too.

Take a look at his website www.rawphoto.co.uk and see what you think.

cheers

As a suggestion place a few disposable cameras on the tables of the reception and asks the guests to shoot away all night. You get some good, some nasty and some interesting but it gives an insight to other peoples views.

Hello

Is someone in Crawley okay? He did a superb job of our photographs, a mixture of black and white and colour. He does a double act with a video company as well if you are interested.

Say yes, and I'll actually go and dig out his name (he travels, as we got married at Groombridge place)

It's ours this Saturday and we are leaving cameras on every table to capture things from the guests views as well as the photographer.

For the photographer we are using Terry Joslin from Slough and he's a professional photographer who works for bike magazines regularly doing cover shots as well as being a wedding photographer If you do a google for Terry Joslin you'll find his site and he does travel

I trust you're using a local 5 star hotel for the reception

That would be good if you're able to. Thanks.

Will do. All the best for yours this weekend. Looks as though the weatherr's going to be good for it.

We looked at it but the Compton Suite or room or whatever they call it looked too dark, so we've gone for another popular one just down the road.

Our photographer is based in Manchester, but she travelled down: http://www.ikonphotographics.co.uk

She could take command of the crowd, especially if you know what our families are like. Needless to say we were both very impressed with her skills on the day and of the final results.

I made the decision not to have disposable cameras on the tables, as every other weeding I've been to with them, they seem to get wasted by the kids, or no one uses them, and the picture quality isn't that brilliant.

On the day everyone seem to have a digital camera and afterwards we were given CDs or emailed with all sorts of pictures people had taken on the day.

I'll second that one. We used Peter and he is fantastic. Aside from top quality results, he was terrific fun to be around as well.

Know of a chap called Warren based around Horsham who does excellent wedding photos.

www.fairytale-photography.co.uk

His number is 07799001288

I have no connection with him, just seen his work from a few weddings

Cheers

Nick
