Default More interesting Tax Statistics

Summary:

Accountants are concerned because workers in ordinary jobs are finding themselves in the top tax bracket. Grant Thornton tax partner Ian Luder said the figures were 'shocking', adding: 'By refusing to raise thresholds in line with earnings, he [Gordon Brown] has effectively been increasing his revenues by twice the rate of inflation for seven years.
