Question Song buffs

I am stuck with a title - Might have been 1999 give or take a year. The song had a very distinctive bass bit (dum dum dum, dum dum dum dum dum) - can't remember any of the words, but when I try to remember it the word 'Cream' springs to mind. If it helps, the 5th, 6th and 7th bars of the bass riff are virtually the same as the start of the chorus of 'I'm so excited'

Cream was a track by Blank & Jones circa 99.

I have the CD single

Just checked my work iTunes - not listed unfortunately, it'll be on my laptop at home.

I think the flaw with the humming is that the tune in my head doesn't really sound like the tune that comes out of my mouth

It`s like "name that tune" only without the notes.
