There was one of these a while ago - I was in the middle of reading in when it got vaporised - I was a bit miffed - there were some links I wanted to follow!

So - just because it doesn't appeal to you - it doesn't mean that nobody wants to read it!

It is not 'imposing' anything on anybody! Everyone on here writes their own beliefs whether it be to do with cars or politics or whatever. - If the thread is not illegal, dishonest (I'd like to say imoral - but I don't think that means much to most people) then it will die a natural death if no-one replies to it! - Simple!

If people are worried about reading some comments about life after death because it may mean they need to make changes to their cosy existence, they should not try to deny other people the opportunity to find out about it! It is a matter of (eternal) life or death!

It is Jesus who is the way to heaven, by the way - in case you haven't heard

It was basically quite a gross thread, displaying some pretty graphic photos from that religious Mell Gibson film and quoting bits from that book called the bible. It smacked of a religious nutter on the loose. Even to me a pagan, it was offensive.

Any mention of religion Mick brings out the flamethrowers from some of the irreligious fundamentalists!

Even if you don't push your own beliefs on them, they will soon stamp on you! No room for tolerance.

I did not see the thread that was mentioned before it was vaped however, so am not qualified to comment on it. If it was well over the top as I assume it must have been, then it is not surprising its gone.

Les

Les - re-read your own comments mate!

I am a Christian - you might call me fundamentalist... I just believe the Bible - flamethrowers? 'stamping on people'?

The world needs to know that God loves them. What's the problem with that?

I have seen a thread along 'religious lines' before, that was removed - It was not offensive just stated Christian belief and gave some web links.

Seems to me removing threads like that is intolerance. Do you not see the logic missing from your arguments?

I am not forcing you to read my comments - you could put me on your ignore list if you want...

Have a great day... y'all

I liked the bit where he parted the sea.

Oh and the bit with the locusts.

Oh and the bit with the boat and the animals going in two by two.

Its not all bad.

For those that missed it.... this was one freaky thread.

I have no problem at all with anything that is posted on here as it does not need to be clicked on (as already mentioned by Mick)

The thread didn't offend me in the slightest.

But, if anyone had wanted to start a war on Scoobynet, they would of been as well coming on here and saying something less sensitive like: All gays should be shot, abortion is wrong/correct, all asylum seekers should be publicly hung in the street and women are the lesser sex

The thread was going to generate similar responses.....all I was saying is that it was a quick and correct move by the mods.

Anyone defending the thread (that they probably didn't see) on the basis of you can post what you want as people don't need to click on it should quietly skulk away

Sorry Si - you're probably right. I didn't see the thread so I can't defend that one. I have just been sensitised to the action by the previous one.

Please forgive me - I'll let this one rest now...

Mick (taking a chill pill)
