Best 30th birthday pressie ever...
Hello
2 days ago on the 14th June it was my 30th birthday. Got a new Longines watch, surprise trip to Barcelona to leave yesterday from the wife and loads of cool stuff.
Had a party at my local pub on Tuesday night, and had garden games (connect 4, massive jenga, etc) and a small disco, and a massive 6.5 metre tall inflatable slide. After a few beers the slide was ace, really good fun except for when i threw meself down and landed with a thump and a crack at the bottom.
After an hour of trying to make it not hurt (so as not so spoil the trip to Barcelona) i gave in and went to A&E. The result - a broken leg (fibula i think its called).
Wow, happy birthday to me, 6 weeks in plaster, no trip to Barcelona and a birthday party to remember.....
What a plonker !

I'd love to have seen you in casuality explaining how you crashed off the end of a bouncy castle slide!! Hope you get better soon, shame you didn't post sooner, I could have used the Barcelona tickets for you
