why get a v12?

you can probably get alot of 5.7 chevvy for 10K, a bloke near me has an old 3 series beemer with a freshly rebuilt 430 brake 5.7 in it, and hes flogging that for 5.5K inc the car!.

You're probably better off asking on one of the kit car sites, getting hold of a variety of s/h engines is a much more common problem than on a one make board like this. You want a Subaru EJ20? No problem. Anything else.... errr....

Try asking on www.pistonheads.com, there's a much wider variety of marques represented.

My Dad's built a very nice Lambo replica and he used a 5.7 litre Chevvy.
