It's My BIRTHDAY!!!
77 and all's well!!
Got me a R/C Helicopter Anyone got a program to fly it on the PC? I have a 'Buddy' cable!
I fear that I will smash it to bits on its maiden flight
Should I make some legs for training??
Pete

It's nowt like that, it's Electric and from ModelZone.
It's mainly an indoor one and for calm days outside, as I understand.
I have quickly taken a snap-shot of it, in its case - haven't had chance to assemble yet or anything ................ how mant minutes before its in pieces??

I would say that coat hanger with ping pong ***** would be perfect mate.
because of the heli you have they need to be super light, so I would say that would be perfect, also if not that consider balsa wood with ping pong *****.
nice and long out streches to make sure you have a nice steady landing.
I have one similar to that, and its lasted me many months, I even bought one for my mates 3 year old, he loved it and soon grasped the art of flying, so im sure if he can do it you will be fine.
p.s. this is j4mou (had to change my name in a rush for legal reasons )

nah im not joking, he did eventually kill it, but he did fly it, and well at times.
you will be fine, theres replacement bits for those helis on ebay, and nice and cheap too.
just have a play with it, I wouldnt suggest using it outdoors unless it was super calm though.

Thanks all for the best wishes ....... I would like to say I am looking forward to another 77 years, but I would be lucky to get another 5 or 10!!
Suprabeast - do I just connect my transmitter into the PC and run the simulator?? It looks like it has a serial connector on one end of the buddy lead??
