I don't know how you start them, but you open the doors by twisting a **** on the dash, clockwise for the drivers door, anticlock for the other
I only know coz I locked myself in one at the motorshow and one of the TVR babes had to show me how to get out

There is push a button on the key fob to press and then, within 10 seconds, push a button on the dash that’s disguised as a cigarette lighter.
To get out of the car, all you do is twist the far left **** on the centre console.

Maybe it's my own paranoia but could it be they aren't being given any real production cars anymore by manufacturers because they are afraid they'll be given a bad review or be associated with the bad press of Top Gear? Not many mainstream cars anymore.
Last nights episode was a load of rubbish.

What, you think it might have been a staged stunt? No...
Jeremy Clarkson recently dropped into The Lido at Chipping Norton - quite
literally - to film a spectacular stunt for Top Gear. Filmed amidst great secrecy in early May before the pool re-opened, the stunt was masterminded by Bickers, the team that has worked on many a Bond film.
Ken Norman, chairman of Chipping Norton Lido Ltd, commented, "Jeremy
Clarkson had kindly offered to host another Auction of Promises in 2005, so
The Lido management team asked if there was anything we could do in return!
Jeremy has always wanted to recreate the urban legend concerning Keith Moon
driving a car into his swimming pool. After talks with Bickers, and the Top
Gear production team at the BBC, The Lido's management were satisfied that
the stunt could be achieved safely and without any damage being done, and
filming went ahead."
The programme in which Clarkson drives a two-ton Rolls Royce Silver Shadow
into The Lido will be screened on Sunday 12 June at 8.00pm on BBC2. Be sure to watch it!

I agree, i normally love the fact its an hour long but last night they seemed to struggle to fill it!
Best thing by far was the Weismann (sp?), i really like that car...made the tuscan look boring and thats saying something!!
The pool thing was rubbish, they built it up for about 10 minutes and then it was meant to be a big surprise they jumped it....but there was a clip of it at the start of the show

The difference between Clarkson and the other two is that he has the charisma to pull off a stupid comparison such as the puppy and the Aston and they don't. When they try, it becomes excruciatingly embarrassing.

Did wonder about the TVR.
But yep, weak episode. In fact at one point I thought James May wasnt even there! Dont think hes quite so happy there anymore. Which is a shame, because he brings a certain quality to the other 2s exuberance.

I've given up watching Top Gear. It's no longer a source of any useful or valuable car related information, but simply uses cars as a platform for cheap (and often moronic) "entertainment" for people with little automotive interest and those who don't like to think very hard. I guess it's good for the ratings though.

I enjoyed it
Missed the first few minutes so wasn't obvious that the rolls was going in the pool...
I loved his DIY on the Rolls - great fun - I know guys like that
I ALWAYS like to see lots of film of Astons... sorry - could have done without the puppy though
Who wants to see boring production cars anyway... I hate the test drives of the city cars and stuff like that - If I'm interested in those I can go to a dealer and test drive one myself - not quite the same with an Aston or Ferrari
Anyway horses for courses I guess, I and my sons always watch Top Gear I'ts great fun ( a little 'rude' on occassion, but rare enough to be acceptable )
Oh yes - I loved the comment about the Dutch viewers watching because it's called Top 'GEAR' and so they think it's going to be about drugs... Excellent
