Default xcel arghhh

help ive lost a feature from excell and cant work out how to get it back.

basicslly its the feature where when you work in a cell, the data you enter is mirrored in a menu box at the top


that way you can edit one line instead of scrolling through a cell

any help would be appreciated

Wouldn't that be in the view/toolbars drop down? Not certain because I haven't got it on the home pc.

Surely its View Menu -> Formula Bar?

It is ... but I was rather hoping he would stew for a bit, until you came along and ruined it!

In Excel 2003 that does exactly the same thing as just doing View Menu -> Formula Bar

B@lls... It does in the old version (2002) im using too, just that ive got that dammed menu hiding doo-daar turned on, so it was hidden...
