Damned Flies
Flies resoulutely sticking their carcasses to warm bodywork & windscreen has been a bane for years. I have tried everything to clean these up (tar remover, fly remover, turps, petrol, etc) but no joy.
Can anyone suggest something that is easy to use, doesn't require hours of fruitless elbowgrease, and works please?
The windscreen problem is particularly irksome as its so bloody difficult to remove the traces and end up with a clean screen.
Cheers chaps.

i've got a sponge with a sort of netting round it (like a pair of fishnet tights) not sure how it does it, but this cleans off all insects and crap.
auntie got it for me in a car cleaning kit years ago, sure beat socks

I seem to remember someone suggesting the best way was to wet a sheet with water and lay it over the fly infested front of the car for 20 minutes. Apparently they then just wash off with a hose....not tried this though

Guys, I have the sponge thingy with the netting. Doesn't seem to work for me unless one is prepared to spend hours scrubbing at it. In this, the 21st century, there has to be an easier, more effective method than this?!.
Any more suggestiuons please?
Thanks
