I have been reviewing some of my older xl spreadsheets that i created, and in my infinite wisdom created passwords that were unique to me..

so bl**dy unique i cant remeber them... can any of the esteemed sn lot asvise me if there are any utilities that can "ahem" help me find the password

Yes there are, but they are not free. In trial version is usually gives you "part" of the password.

I have so many numbers and passwords for websites, etc that i put them all in one xl file and put a password on that luckily I havnt forgotton it yet

There is a free version around for excel that works brilliantly. It works by brute force attack. Let me see if I can find it... But a google will reveal it fairly quickly.
