Cracking fight, didn't see as much of the trademark body destruction that Hatton has dished out in the past ... incredible level of fitness and stamina. He has defeated one of boxings all time greats, full credit!

superb fight and he really deserves it, one question though, do you think the outcome would have been the same had Tszyu been 5-7 years younger? I don't think so as Tszyu was showing his class through the middle part of the fight and I beleive it was only his age and fitness levels which allowed Ricky back into the fight.

Well chuffed for him, Ricky's got plenty of time to improve too and so you can't say that Tsyzu's age/fitness is the only reason he lost.

I'm not taking anything away from Ricky, he is a warrior through and through, all I'm saying is that if Tsyzu had enough in his engine to do what he was doing in the 5th, 6th and 7th rounds then Ricky would have lost, it was mainly down to the fact the the guy ran out of steam and Ricky capitalised on it.

Even Barry Mc. was saying that there is no way that Tsyzu has as much stamina as he did when he was 25.

and yes, Ricky can only beat what is in front of him and he did take some heavy blows.

Superb fight, great ability and sportsmanship by both fighters. Well deserved win.
