thought it was quite funny

but then again didn't think driving the jag with buggered engine leaking oil all over the place on public roads was a good idea.

Seems like a half hour programme squashed into an hour to me.
At least driven is usually ok.

I liked it too. They do need to review more cars though Top Gear is more about entertainment now imo, not a serious car review program.

All serious TV programs have gone. Anyone remember the original Tomorrow's World- where they actually had science in the program? No surprise that went then was it.....

i must admit over the last few years iv'e gone right off clarkson, his views on cars are very strange.......like when he test drives any aston martin and it keeps spinning round in circles (to me that means you can't drive/pushing it to hard or the car is ****) and then claims thats one of the best cars hes ever driven???? he thinks his opinion is always right! how many cars reputations have been killed by this man?

I still can't understand these Top gear bashing threads. The show is now more of an entertainment show than a motoring show, look back at the old top gear if you want to be bored. The old top gear was purely factual and involved road tests of ****e like skoda favorites and ladas

I agree there that he is always right and has to win. I admit that I found that tedious that yet again without actually winning tonight he claimed victory. He did have the best car there though but being the frontman for the show means that he always will He needed to have admitted defeat tonight to make similar tests in the future more interesting from that point of view.

It was still funny though if you just switch off and watch it

Was one of the weaker shows tonight, but then they cant all be good.

Generally a very good programme IMO however - cant wait to see the return to the Nurburgring with Sabine driving a Transit van round!!

It is repeated. But just for fun you have to guess when...

Or search www.radiotimes.com for 'top gear'. Believe it's either tomorrow or Tuesday....
