You can get up to 33% off if you know someone who works for Rolex!
My parents got theirs with 33% off and claimed back the VAT as they came into the UK on their Hong Kong passports! Still far too expensive for something you wear on your wrist!! (But I guess I have no class!! )
Before you ask, there is no discount on the Steel Daytona..... I've already asked!! Some shops won't even put you on a waiting list as they don't want to wait 4-5 years for your money!!

I forgot to say, I know someone who was looking at getting rid of two of them. One with the black face, the other with a white face.
I'll drop him a mail to see if he still wants to sell them.
They are both boxed and unworn with Rolex certificates.

I should be picking mine up in a couple of months.
I've been on the waiting list for a year now which was really quite fortunate.
Most places have quoted me 7 years + to get one, the rest won't even take an order.
Selfridges said they would only entertain an order if I spent more than £30,000 with them.

There are two on ebay:
one white faced and one black faced- from a reputable seller (not authorised dealer)
£6k- which is a tad over list, but then these are selling for a premium.

If you vist Alexanders in Surrey and purchase a Submariner, Explorer or the likes, you can PX it for a Daytona at list in a minimum time of 12 months, this was the deal in Feb 004.
You order the Daytona on the day you pay for your PX watch.
Or go to NY/LA or the likes and buy one outright, post the box/papers to your home addy and wear the watch home.
Why other countries have Datonas in the window has always baffled me, and compelled me to buy a nailgun.....
Note: 2004 F series Daytonas exchange wrists for between £5500 and £6500.
