How are crash helmet sizes measured??
Buying myself a lid. Need to know what size to get.
They do sizes S, M, L, XL and XXL. Each size has a measurement in CM. Where exactly on my bonce do I measure to get the correct size???
Many thanks.

Would recommend you try them on first...
A medium from one manufacturer will not fit as well as medium from another manufacturer. It's not just the size of your head, it's also the shape of your head.

Most people find they have an "Arai" head or a "Shoei" head... other makes are ok too though! Expensive helmets are generally better - it's not just branding, to be fair. Arai, at least, have good impact resistance all over and not just at the test points used for BS testing. Or so I'm told.
Make sure it's snug, cos it'll loosen up a tad.
