Yep, I went last year. Is a pretty good day out....see sooooo much more than what is in the show as they cut it down to the hour long show you see on TV.

i went last year and thought it to be a bit boring tbh,too much time shuffling around the studio with people straining thier necks just to be seen on tv(quite funny watching everyone elbowing thier way to the front).

clarkson and co are funny though, alot of messing around with the script, lots of re takes.

been there done it wouldnt go again though

Have been twice - trick is to ring the applause store up rather than just log your details via their website - this method worked both times for me.

I read on here a while back, that you stand a better chance if you're female or if you're taking one along with you.

Went earlier this year, good laugh, with jolly and both our wives, got tickets no problems and even offered tickets for the next day at the show. It does say on the web site that a mix of 50/50 males/females is required but when we got there they weren't bothered.

Went last year, it was a good day although a lot of standing around... Defo up for going again tho... Good chance to meet the stars & get a gander at a few nice cars at the same time... must admit, changed my opinions on Clarkson, he really is quite funny & entertaining in the flesh...

I was fortunate to get tickets for the Jodie Kid episode, who was very funny and I'm surprised so much was cut out.

I've noticed recently they have cramped even more people in the audience!!

We stood around for about 5 hours. Knowing what the audience go through, I'm happy to watch it on a Sunday night!

Unlike some shows, you get get to see all the show, rather than just the studio bits.

You have to do it once!

I managed to get on the first of the last series when the did the beach blasts in the Jaguar, great day.

I got my tickets through Applause store and took around 3 months to get them. They do require a 50/50 split with males and females though so you will have to take the missis or the mistress

I wish that helped.

I have been applying for the last 3 years and no luck.

Although I did get to watch filming last year thanks to a mate.

Am on applause email list and get just through quite often, can never make any of them though due to work hours and where they all are.

Top Gear filmed on a Wednesday so no point in trying for tickets
