A congestion charge question....
Anyone know how long before they issue a penalty?
A...er.. friend...needs to know.
Cameras at entrance to zone out of action due to a roadworks diversion into the zone (signs stating this), then went through the charging zone and out the other side, drove home then fell asleep and forgot to pay by their stupid deadline.
Was almost 3 weeks ago- any idea of the time frame they issue their initial £100/£50 within 14 days penalty? Or have they been lucky and got away with it..?

Thats the diversion I was referring to 
although the zone was driven through totally- not just the diversion bit.
