Selling second hand jewellery?
Hi,
Got a gold bracelet that I would like to get rid of. Twi reasons: 1) I don't wear jewllery anyway and 2) it was given me by an ex ...... :-)
It's been valued at a few hundred squid (about 6/700 from memory) so I would like 3 figures for it at least. Have looked at Ebay but there is so much on there that it seems difficult to sort the wheat from the chaffe. So don't think I would get much.
Any other ideas as to where I can flog it?
Cheers

Troll it round good quality jewellers in your area . They will give you an on the spot valutation if they're worth their salt.
I had an antique turquoise and pearl necklace once, took it down the Lanes in Brighton which is crawling with jewellers, had some good valuations. If you have any paperwork to go with it, eg, receipt , that always helps.
