Just shoot him...

If he wont be treated and he is putting other peoples lives at risk on purpose then either lock him up for good or shoot the ****** like you would a rabid animal!
Looks like he is exploiting the system to commit crime, good old Labour, tough on crime as usual

Have to agree with Bravo2Zero on this, but would not bother locking him up as a bullet would be the cheapest option and less risk to everyone else !

What he is doing is tantamount to attempted murder, and unfortunately may result in premediatated murder if someone who is already in an at risk category gets infected.
All it needs is a couple of sensible people, a judge to order the course of treatment and a doctor to do it.

FFS - this is the crux of what is wrong with this country. This mans rights are more important than those of thee innocent unsuspecting. He knows that he can get treatment, he knows he can be cured, he knows he is infecting others and does not care.
The law should put him away until he is not infectious or a threat to others.
I would put him away on mental health grounds until fixed.
This sh*t makes me mad!

While I agree with the sentiments - forced medication is a fine line to tread. There is I believe, provision under the mental health act to section somebody who is potentially a danger to themselves and others. But is this a mental health issue or just a plain "I don't care"?
However, what then happens with the likes of a Jahovas Witness who will not accept a blood transfusion? Do you section them and force them to have a transfusion? I appreciate that is a subtely different situation where they are not affecting others, but you come back to the basic of "is it right to force somebody to take medication when they don't want to?"

The point here is OllyK is that they are a public health risk. If a badger/cow has TB its killed immediately. A human has it and they are allowed by law to carry on walking round infecting people with a potentially lethal disease. Something there is very very wrong!

By the looks of it, as far as I can see, it's a "If I've got TB then the police won't/can't interview me or prosecute me for the serious crime that I was arrested for some time ago, and can therefore 'Get out of Jail Free'. If I'm cured enough to feel OK, then great - but I really want to 'keep' the disease, and hence the 'GOOJF' card."

Not sure where you are going with this but here goes.
Leicester and Bradford have the highest recorded cases of TB in the UK, they also have large 'immigrant' communities. TB was almost irradicated in the UK but has been on the increase again, this may be down to immigration.
have a look at;

I probably agree that it's re-appearance is mostly due to immigrant communities.
The main problem is/was that sufficient drugs were not made available to tackle the problem at source (3rd world). Partial treatment may work in some cases but it also encourages resistant strains.
In some cases, surgery is the only option.

TBH i do not care if the bloke is an immigrant or not. He should be removed from society until his infectious and potentially fatal discease is cured if he is unwilling to get the treatment he needs.
