TV, Amp, Xbox, etc....what about all the plugs?
My Tv corner has a Tv, AMP, DVD, Xbox, digi sender, wirless router, telephone, etc all pluged into two wall sockets....so half of them are in 4 way multi plug things............does anyone make a product that you can plug LOTS of things into at once? preferable to wire directly in instead of using a bulky plug?
anyone?
anyone?

A few suggestions - FWIIW
1) Put a spur in off your existing plug. Pretty simple job
2) You can use block connectors to connect a number of things, you just need to watch the safety aspect.
3) A Junction box
4) A 6 way extension lead
5) A UPS

You also used to be able to get an extension where you replaced the standard plug with an kettle style plug - that worked well.
You can also get a plug that's about the same size as a 3 way block that you can hard wire up to 4 devices in to.

I have a total of 1 plug socket in my bedroom. into that goes 5 duraplugs (4way adapters) and a couple of doubles. its something like 24 plugs/devices. obviously they dont all run at once but its been like that for years, they have anti surge on some of the adapters too. what are the consequences of having this many ??

The main thing is to make sure it doesn't all get too hot, as that can be the start of the problem. Try immersing it in a bucket of cold water that should help*
*Disclaimer - if you fry yourself trying this I know nothing!

the worst thing is the items that have a transformer plug..they are so large you cant use the socket next to it!
anyway to combine 3 transformer items into one transformer?

It's soundling like adding a couple of spurs with double sockets is going to be the preferred solution.

4 technics turntables
2 cd turntables
1 mixer
2 eq/kill units
1 EFX unit
1 amp
1 CD recorder
1 MD recorder
All on at once, and all running from a double socket via 4 ways daisychained...
I wont even type whats running for the stuido/production setup- as to be honest it scares the crap out of me.
Suffice to say, everything is turned off when i am not in the room.
