I am going to visit Alyn @ ASperformance this saturday and was going to stay the night in Newcastle or surrounding area. I need somewhere that is nice and has secure parking for my scooby. Any ideas??

Travelodge in the city centre, has secure underground parking.

Gibside Arms in Whickam, 5 mins from city centre. Nice place, secure underground car park with roller shutter door, 2 mins to get on to the A1.

you free to lock your car away in my carwash overnight if you get stuck mate.

out of sight behind a wall inside, and both entrances are chained shut with cctv in 2 places.

i would be happy to leave mine there overnight, ive left new X5`s there overnight that have been in for valet and they have been fine

I have never been to Newcastle and am really looking forward to it. My girl is coming with me too so shops have to be in the equation. ASperformance is in Birtley so somewhere near there would be great. Liked the roller shutter one might give them a call if they are near to where i am going.

Any more ideas?

im more towards whitley bay to be fair

10 min drive to whitley bay, 5 min drive to silverlink retail park which has a hilton hotel
about 15 mins drive to newcastle centre

You can see the Metro Centre ( massive shopping centre) from the back of the Gibside, 2 minute drive. Alyns place is about 15 mins down the A1, bit more than that if it's rush hour though! The phone no. for the Gibside is 0191 4889292. I stay there whenever I'm back up to Toon, no probs.

I've stayed at the Premier Travel Inn (Newcastle - Quayside) which also has secure parking.

Sleep in the car in the police station yard. Oh and borrow a big dog.
