Default The Apprentice - Channel 2 - The right result

MY GOD!

Who does she think she is?

She has NO social skills what so ever. How she got into the final i do not know? She doesnt even market these classy events well, every time she panics and runs around trying to get things together she looks like a stupid ameteur.

She didnt deserve to win because she was such a loose cannon.

Basically...

She is walking around the streets and she is using a megaphone to sell cruise tickets. She is making up figures of £1000 discounted to £5. As if you would actually buy any

I wouldnt trust her at all.

He deserved to win! He really does. She panics, she has no people skills, no management skills, She works hard but damn i wouldnt want her working for me and i wouldnt work for her.

His views in each task, his attitude and his people skills were very good.

He is young, but only physically, mentally he is well up there and obviously has a good background, experience and qualifcations.

At the end of the day he looks long term, he plans, hes a good good manager and planner.

I am glad that he won!

Has anyone else been watching this? Its a very good show? Its just a shame that some of the contestants shouldnt have been there.

(sorry for the spelling, tired)

IMHO, Miriam or James should have won that competition.

Thought they were far more competent than any of the others.

She made me embarassed to be a woman in business - we're not all like that! I'm sure she only got through for good TV - the US version had a similar character (Amorosa I think) who had an equally bad attitude.

I'm sure she only picked Paul for the final task so she could fight him some more and try to win. I normally HATE tv where people are fighting, but those 2 were just hilarious!

Good on Tim though - hope he goes far - nice to see the good guy win for a change!

Tim was a nice guy very nice guy, in episode 1 he was cool when being PM and was in last nights episode. To be honest my opinion on Saira changed after about Episode 3, yes she is gobby, opinionated and likes the sound of her own voice *but* if you needed a sales person who got results that was also a good negotiator when buying as well then she is your person, sales is results and if you cant close the deals you might as well change careers. Very entertaining TV for sure.

Yeah, Tim's a good guy but he did overdo it a bit with how he was going to use his wages to pay for his Mum's holiday - was making me cringe.

none of them should have won..

Al offered me the job months ago, but i turned him down as his perks package was crap!!

i suggested the tv series as it would be a nice little earner for him..

tim didnt really show an abundance of skills im my opinion. yeah he was nice and was alright i guess but he never once caught the eye, he was just kinda there lurking about.

as for someone saying he has good experience and background, he's worked for the london underground since he left school and not at a particularly high level at that.

the only half decent candidate he deserved the job was james. they were supposed to be 14 of the most promising business people in the uk, i find that very hard to believe though. about 8 of them shouldnt have even gotten considered for the show

James was an excellent chap and thoroughly nice guy, he may have cooked his goose however because effectively he was taking a pay 'cut' to take on the role, something that would be questionable (even if morally honourable) for anyone going for a job interview.

Just like Paul was questioned, he has allegedly got 3.5mill worth of property and his own property management company why would he need to consider a role working for someone else?

The magical word 'television' was of course part of the attraction no doubt!

I think in Paul's case it was more than that. Being self employed, I get the feeling he needs others around him to reaffirm his skills/success.

Am I the only one who thought his claims about his property empire were a shade suspect? When pressed on the level of his mortgages he clammed up either because he didn't know or because he was bull****ting - which it was I'm not sure.

I can make some interesting claims about the value of the properties I own but if you take the level of equity I have then it isn't so impressive.
