I read on Cryptome recently that the reason Blair does what he's told by Bush with regards to going to war is that, in effect, he's bound to do so by the terms of the Trident contract. Now, I'm not saying it's true -- but am interested to hear if anyone here reckons it's possible, plausible or a downright ridiculous idea. What do you think?

 

I think it highly unlikely and even if MT had signed up, I'm not sure how it could be forced upon a new government, not without it becoming highly public.

 

It would only work in Blair's favour if it were true. The internet is packed full of conspiracy theories. Problem is that you get lied to so much that you can't work out who is a crank or not.
