wtf why do they have to take somthing good and f*ck it up..
the who thing with the original advert was the way it was done..
it just flowed, and it was a talking point..
now what have we got..
another black hip hop /urban guy doing some body popping..
FFS they could have used the guy who did the advert..
someone ought to tell some of these marketing guru,s if you have a winner.. fdont **** it up

Gene Kelly is the Golf GTi Advert, with the Mint Royale tune over the top of it, IMO this is the actual video they will play when the tune is released this month due to legal reasons if they released it with the Golf ad.
It says "Mint Royale - Singin in the rain, Out 15th August", certainly looks like a promo video to me!
And who cares anyway, its bloody good so get off your high horse, bloody know all.

the original song is singing in the rain by gene kelly...
the ad company used the film/ song theme to drop a golf in the end... and made a clever advert
they should just do the whole thing again without the car ..
Its singing in the rain,, not bloody hip hop in a subway!!

They didnt. The ad company used Mint Royale's remix of singing in the rain and made a copy of the Gene Kelly sketch using the talents of David Elsewhere.
If they wanted to release Singing in the rain as intended they would just use the original song and film, this is a remix.

hmm, i understoood the golf add was produced by mint royale
if its as you say, i would be hot footing it accross to the gene kelly estate, and whacking out a deal
