Default HeadTeacher Struggles on Millionaire!

No wonder the kids are struggling

OK, she's only the Head of a little Primary School ..... but she will be taking £55,000 a year out of the Council Taxes paid by the lower paid!

She didn't have a clue that a Little Gem is a Lettuce!

What do people see where I am on their Ignore List and I start a thread??

Does the thread appear but is empty - or does no thread appear at all??

A capacity for General Knowledge is not an indication of intelligence, nor fitness for ones job.

Teachers SHOULD have excellent General Knowledge ..... kids ask questions all the time!!

"Teacher, whats the capital city of France?"

"don't know Billy, can I ask a friend?"

The few people I know that went into teaching were as thick as you know what, so doesn't surprise me that the headteacher didn't do too well

That looks like a damning indightment of the new labia education policy.... (or at least it would do if I could spell damning indictment)

I liked the Inland Revenue guy on at the end. I thought Tarrant could have asked him if he would prefer cash rather than a cheque though

Maybe when you see what teachers have to put up with these days without any recourse to effective ways of disciplining uncontrollable children, you have to feel that they deserve the salaries they get!

Put it this way, I would NOT ever be a teacher..... not today with the little brats being so----- precocious, knowing, worldly-wise etc. And thats coming from a grand parent with a 2 yr old grandson and an 8 month old grandson, even they - with all my breeding ( ahem ) and good sense, are a bit scarey at their tender ages. Blame it on the telly.

I CANNOT believe that she hadn't heard of Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code", didn't know that a Little Gem is a lettuce AND clearly hadn't seen Lord of the Rings!!

I mean come on, I bet there isn't a single person on scoobynet who couldn't of got at least one of those!!

Unbelievable!!
