New job requires me to drive from Woking to Richmond several times a week.
Obvious route is the M3 - A316 pretty much all the way there.....or I notice that the A307 runs pretty much all the way there too ?

Anyone know the best route or drives the 307 everyday ?

I used to drive the other way round ie Richmond to Woking everyday

Used to do the A316 > M3 route... never really had any problems tbh

Thanks T4. I guess like any route nearer London its traffic that slows you down rather than the actual distance - its only less than 30 miles each way after all.
If you know Richmond well can you give any ideas on Parking - I will be working in just off the one-way system & am told that only options are the Car Parks that charge £6 per day....any (car safe !) suggestions or sneaky places to park around there ?
