Default Strange Feeling....

Does anybody ever feel as though their life is a finely poised house of cards that is due to collapse at any moment?

At the minute my life is great, albeit a bit stressful. I just have an awful feeling that it wont last and that everything is going to go t*ts up!

If its too good to be true then it usually is, but is it ALWAYS too good to be true? Can you REALLY get something for nothing?

?

Its funny.

I have just started making SERIOUSLY good money for doing absolutely nothing. Just a random flash of curiousity which seems to work. I almost feel guilty making it and im paranoid that its going to just dry up (which it well might) just when i get my head around the fact that it could be here to stay. And the amounts im talking about are scary compared to my previous (student) situation.

I just feel confused. Not happy or sad, just confused.

(And im not drug-dealing before anybody asks )

Hello

That is life unfortunately. Well, life in a high-paid "going to get sacked soon" kind of job anyway.

Although you can "make hay whilst the sun shines" as above, it also pays to put something aside for a rainy day. Just to get all the cliches out of the way.

Steve.

I suggest you take things a bit easier and try to reduce the stress, these are the first early warning signs that a breakdown could be round the corner. You are showing early signs of depression that have not manifested themselves fully........yet. This feeling that your world will collapse will get stronger and stronger and will niggle away at you until it becomes a self fullfilling prophecy....

Not trying to paint it all as doom and gloom, but I would tread carefully

Good luck

SiPie has said it......... sadly he/she didn't mince his/her words. Please take it easy and relax.
These feelings are akin to over-stress and indicate underlying worries but You CAN control the situation and ease up a bit.
Don't do what I did ...and burn yourself out.
Pace yourself. Enjoy what you have and be proud of what you've accomplished. Good luck.

Yes. In addition, I feel like the wind is getting up and the cards are starting to wobble.

We are talking about an entrepeneurial activity.

Totally legal and legitimate, just stressful.

Matt - I'd imagine 95% of entrepreneurs feel the same way (dunno, never had the guts/brains to do it meself). As long as you don't do anything silly like overstretching yourself for credit, then it sounds like you can't really lose.

My advice would be to cautiously enjoy it. If you have a talent, and it's being rewarded, don't knock it, but similarly, don't blow it all and get yourself into a lifestyle you couldn't afford without this income. Works for me.

All our lives are finely balanced houses of cards. The only thing keeping us alive are tiny pulses, mere millivolts, rhythmically contracting our hearts, desperately trying to feed oxygen and nutrients to the cells in our bodys so that they may continue the ultimately futile fight to hold themselves together, to multiply, to fight the constant attacks of ageing, microbes, toxins and particles that assualt our bodies every minute of every day.

Enjoy it while it lasts!

That sounds good to me.

Over the past 2 days or so i have had a good think about it and to be honest, touch wood, there isnt any logical reason why it should stop working.

Im still being very cautuious but hopefully it will all stay good. I certainly hope so.
