anyone ever used these people? ...or know anyone/know of anyone who has?

(i am asking from a purely commercial point of view and have no intention of selling my house to them!)

they will value your house, subject to you paying a fee; make an offer within 7 days and on completion of the purchase refund the valuation fee and contribute £500 towards your legal costs. obviously the offer will be below market value, but does anyone have any experience or background on how far below?

After a quick google, it seems all that's available on the web is a bunch of their press releases & survey results.

I couldn't find anything relateing to feedback from sellers.

that's all i've seen as well.
not sure how long they've been running but find it strange that there are no comments about them or their service on one of the many forums.

Seem to be connected to Link-Up Properties Nationwide Ltd. (http://www.linkprop.org.uk/contact.cfm)

thanks dunk. had seen a few different references to them from different companies although none of it is all that helpful unfortunately.

just for future reference, in case anyone searches this, have found a few bits on ask.com
the pattern seems to be 10-18% discount (ref: british expats forum) but they offered one purchaser only 60% of value (ref: complaints.com). obviously doesn't mean a lot without knowing more about the property, location etc but pretty much as i had assumed (plus a bit).
i think this answers my question!
