Bought another car today to replace the scoob,
phoned up the dealer to get a price for a cambelt change
£300 was the reply.... ok so now i phone around...
phoned another dealer, who,s engine is in the car
will supply a belt but wont fit .... waranty implications they rekon
strange my honda dealer does the wifes rover ( honda engine) with no problems..
i mentioned this to the guy on the line,, a few squeeks and erms and it all went quiet
and they wonder why they have a bad reputation

The warranty thing is all bollox, any reputable garage can work on your car and maintain the warranty as long as they do it in line with manufacturer's guidelines and use original parts, do a google search on block exemption
