Mobil Phone Tech Question
Imagine i had a mobile sent to me by a service provider....and it got broken on route.
Now...pretend they sent a new one but forgot to ask for the bust one back...and i fixed it.
Would they be able to "track" that bust phone when i turn it on and realise that a phone they thought was "out of the system" was up and running?

If you put a SIM in and it works then I'd say you are fine. If you really wanted you could try and find a backstreet shop would could change the IMEI number for you.... although that is not legal AFAIK
