Hopi Ear Candling
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has had this done before? My mum is looking into it and is very interested.
Just wondering how effective it was, prices, session length etc
Cheers

Noooooooooo!!
They put candles in a tube and stick it in your ear and it creates suction and takes the gunk out your ear, apparently.

I have dodgy sinuses and ears, probably due to years of smoking!
I tried candling and it was ok, but probably as effective as ear drops for me.
I will have a chat with my doctor regarding syringing as my hearing is pretty poor!!

I had mine done about 3 weeks ago...There is supposed to be a feelin of relaxation and calmness after..Gotta say that it did little in that direction, but it did draw wax out of my lugs.On one side it pulled out a long plug of it.You could of stuck a wick in it!!
Definately hear better, and for £8 it beats going to the docs and have time off work etc etc..
What have ya got to lose.....apart from £8...give it a go...

I was driving back from the south coast once after a days diving (nice cold sea water in my ears) and felt something poking out of one of my ears. I started freaking out as i thought a bug had crawled in there (wrath of khan style) but it turned out to be a big tube of earwax that had detached.
I think the one from the other side fell out in the sea. I was surprised how long the tube was, about 3cm!
Weird

i was fitted for my custom dj ear plugs last month, and it requires having clean ears
Audiologist said i had some of the cleanest ears she had ever seen....no wax inside at all!
She was very fit too
