Friend was asking after some kind of system so that her grandad could basically contact someone via phone when he has a "turn" which means he cant use a normal phone etc.
Help the retard AKA me what kinda thing should i be looking for so that basically he can just press a button & it dials their mobile &/or landline so they can go round.
Is there a pager or autodial or other system anyone can recommend?

My nan uses a Piper Alarm system which is tun by two local housing authorities in East Herts. All she has to do is press the button on the thing she wears round her neck and staff at the control centre will know who it is immediately and telephone one of us. It works very well providing that the person in question wears it regularly unlike my nan I would imagine other local authorities run similar schemes
