HELP - Any Domestic Appliance Repairers Out There?
We bought a Bosch Vacuum Cleaner 8 weeks ago, a BUC11700GB (like a Dyson, but more relaible - or so I thought!)
Anyway, hoovering quite happily for a while, then I go and empty the drum and the thing won't start sucking! - the motor is spinning the roller on the front ..... but no suction!
I have contacted BOSCH and they have been very good, a Service Engineer will come out to me next week .......................... but, is there anything easy it could be?
All tubes are clear, the base was very hot, the reset button is as it should be .... any ideas?
>braces oneself for the expected abuse<

If it's only eight weeks old I'd have thought you would have a case for taking it back to the retailer for a brand new replacement.
Anyway why are you doing wimmin's work

You weren't "hoovering away", you were Bosching away, or vacuuming would have been correct!!!
You must be really old to come out with that.
