If you'd booked 2-3 weeks back, Jet2 were doing outbound for £9 with the return to Leeds/Bradford at £39. Gone up now

Just a word of warning to anyone planning to come over for the show. It is SEVERELY cold here at the moment. The term they are using is "glacial". We haven't had such cold temperatures for 35 years. The temperature is down to -12 or -13 degrees and the wind is blowing which is making it feel even colder. I've heard it mentioned that with the wind chill factor, temperatures around -22 have been recorded in some parts of the city. For skiers, it was -19 at 2000 metres yesterday and will be a whole lot colder up there today.

So, if you are coming over, make sure you wrap up warm.

Update...just driven in to work and it was a mild -8 degrees. Wind has dropped a bit and the forecast for the next couple of days is much the same. After that, it's back to snow. I'm fed up with snow now roll on summer !
