Anyone else feeling unwell today ?
During this month when the weather has been so changable, has anyone else had a general 'unwell/sick' feeling in the mornings. This week my kids (aged between 10-14) have either felt unwell generally, feeling sick, headache etc. It's nothing to do with not wanting to go to school (they go in my Scooby so that's a buzz for them), today I feel the same way, just feel awfull.
Is it just unusual or anyone else got similar symptoms?

Do you eat a lot of Worcester Sauce crisps?
TBH I think that a variety of weather is part of what makes Britain Great. I would hate to live somewhere where every day was wall to wall sunshine and 30°C. Cold clear days like middle of last week are my favourites.

Everyone has been constantly ill in my house since we started sending the little 'un to the childminder, before Christmas. Mixing with the great unwashed is seriously bad for your health.
Also, my brother claims he is ill if he so much as wakes up with a particle of sleep in his eye, so this may be a contributory factor. I, on the other hand, feel out of sorts if I have had less than 5 pints of wife beater the previous evening.

Time of year... we should all be curled up in our caves right now until spring bursts forth. Its a reaction to having to work through the natural sleep cycle.....
I felt like sh1te yesterday but haven't a cold/virus or anything untoward....just biding my time 'til the little flowers come up out of the ground and the sunny days are back.

I'm sure as ancient hunters we still had to get up and get something to eat.

Is this not called "Seasonally affected Deppression"...
TBH I have felt like crap since before christmas, last night I went to bed at 10pm and did not wake up till 9am and I still feel awful, think it has something to do with a lack of daylight, as at work I have no windows in my office, and most nights it is dark before I leave...

King Ra,
We are not bears.
Many years ago.... millions in fact, we used to store up our hunting spoils and keep them to see us through the winter, because most of the game would be lying low.
So, yes, we did sorta hibernate. Kept indoors/aka caves for long periods of time to conserve energy and keep warm.

It's not just you, I work in a school and the amount of illness between both our staff and children is unbelievable at the moment. They seem to recover come back for a couple of days and go down with something else.
My 13 year old has also been off this week since Tuesday (hardly ever ill) but he looks awful, feels sick (not been sick) high temp, some small spots come up but he isn't right. He is not one to pull one over on me ( he hasn't moved off the sofa with his quilt really, not even been on the pc, so I know he is ill)
