Thank god that woman's gone. She couldn't just drop the silly idea of the cards - and that's what they were, just cards.
She clearly has never shared 30 seconds with a child! Nice one Alan.

Seriously, all the women are just trying too hard to impress, especially the one who got the boot last night. If they just were themselves and let any natural talent show through (if they have any) then they're far more likely to succeeed and not **** up again like Lynn did with her 'Symally' (sp?) thing.
Really got me the way she forced it through against her team mates and her market research and then tried to pin the blame on someone else. Good to see her nearly cry when Alan told her she was fired at the end though.

The best bit was half way through the programme when Lindsay was going on about why she had such a good chance at winning and how her leadership skills had come out on this project - she was really shocked when she was fired - made me laugh alot. She totally ignored her team and the research done with the kids !!! The Robot idea won a clear victory in the vote yet she said 'ok, so we are split on which one we want' !!!!!!!!!!! Dozy idiot.

That blonde estate agent is hot though, and a likely winner I reckon.
Hope that asian woman gets the boot next, how annoying is she??

It is a shame that it is identical to the american version, could even be the same script. I am very glad I don't have to look at Donalds combover anymore though.
I was glad the leader was fired last night. How many times could she be told that the cards were not popular. I could have shouted at the tv...lol
I do agree that the womens team are pants, I hope they sort themselves out soon.

As I say to my wife and someone should have told this woman given her job, communication is a two way process. You talk and you LISTEN and then you interpret what you're hearing.

what i don't get is why she did not follow the instructions she was given. The were asked to design one toy - why did she feel the need to go and design two and then choose between them. What a total waste of time - she just was not letting go of her lame secret signal idea which was voted right fom the beginning as being sh**e.

I wondered what you lot were on about until I realised this is the UK version of the show.
I've just watched the clips of the 2 firings and it doesn't look anywhere near as good as the US version. Alan Sugar isn't a patch on The Donald.

If I was Sir Alan it be checking out how good she was at turning tricks and *maybe* then consider her for a job . That said for someone with alot of sales experience who bought some flowers and then panicked and sold them 2 hours later at less than cost she isnt too bright.
Yep that stupid woman last night, lets have a vote its 340 for the robot and 260 for cards, o so the decision is split, errr no the robot won the vote and thats it!
How the f**k some have even made it into the programme beggars belief. I quite like it though, not bad entertainment.

I often consider competitiveness a negative trait in any longer term team. Ambition, accuracy, application and effectiveness (etc!) are such greater positives. Me Me Me with verbose flaying elbows often leads to thoughts of 'w@ynekerr' within an unit.
That awful asian woman SO kills her intelligence and rational abilities by having this competitive 'me me me f-you look at me' approach. The clever guys dont have this...
Thoughts on competitiveness as a positive? [I know it can be a means to an end but I tend to weed em out when employing if it's coming over too strong]

The interesting aspect that has come out so far is how well the blokes work as a team compared to the women which seems slightly contradictory when you'd have thought the blokes' egos would have got in the way when in actual fact it's the women who are having these problems.
It will be interesting to see how they interract when the genders are mixed together although having witnessed it first hand, there's nothing less attractive than a very ambitious woman in business.

Competitiveness is a trait that all excellent sales people should have. They should not like to lose at anything.
In addition any one (prefer them to have all) of the 4 "m's" are essential to keep sales people hungry to earn loads of cash :
Mortgage (the bigger the better)
Marriage
Mistress
Motor

fantastic episode last night. Adele had to go, but even after she left she still didn't get that it was her that was the problem, not the Harrods staff or her other team members. Can't wait for next week. Who do we think will win?
