Question Mobile phone experts required

Pretty straight forward one for you really.

My dozy girlfriend has took it upon herself to delete every single message in my phone, ok not a big prob but some were important.

Does anyone know if these are retreivable in anyway?

TIA
SV

Hand it to the police and say there was child **** on it.

If they can't recover it, no-one can

If you were to go to the lengths of opening the phone and reading directly from the eeprom used you probably could retrieve them as the data is not over written when deleted, normally. But it will probably be simpler just getting the numbers from those concerned.

Do you have more information on that sort of thing as it seems quite interesting?

Well, it would depend on the phone and the chip/s used within the phone to store memory. You'd need to desolder the relevant chip and then read it via a device reader/programmer. Unless you already have a set up or access to one, it wouldn't be cheap, expecially for modern devices where adaptors alone cost around £100.

Can you apply to the service provider for a record of the last, say, 1 mth's traffic?

It's a Nokia 7250.
I don't think the provider will be of much use to me.
I'm currently looking at Virtual lab data recovery software, free to use from what it says. Will have to get a data cable and give it ago.

I'm no phone expert (quite the opposite) but my friend recently lost his mobile and was able to retrieve all of his recent missed texts from his provider. I don't know if this was only possible because the messages had not been read.
