Question Can you dye leather?

I have a brown leather jacket but to be honest, black is more my colour. Is it possible to dye it.
I wouldn't mind paying up to £50 but it must be done properly,no bodge job.

cheers
Paul.

I thought it was polyvinylchloride - so what do plastic cows eat and can you milk leftover crude oil from them ?
