More Speed Camera Problems
Bus driver charged with doing 81 mph in a 30 mph zone in a bus! This was reported in today's Telegraph and in the Sun.

Fortunately for him the tachograph revealed that he was only doing 29 mph.
According to the Telegraph "the official explanation was that the camera in Earl stoneham, Suffolk, recorded vibrations on the bus."

Heard a few stories like this. Apparantly large vehicles such as buses and trucks can fool the Gatso by interefering with the radar patterns and end up with a false trigger of the camera, even if they're on the other side travelling in the opposite direction. This is why EVERY accusation of speeding from one of these devices MUST be questioned by the individual. Don't just bend over, 'cos you may not deserve the spanking.
