The thought that he knew nothing about this coup somewhat beggars belief. Lets face it, he was in on it, as there was plenty to be gained in oil & minerals if it all went well.

Don't forget, this is the bloke that has been selling arms to the middle east for donkey's years and is as dodgy as a week-old kebab.

His mum & dad have opened many doors for him over the years, and no doubt saved his *** on many an occasion.

Trouble with the hereditary stuff is that they just get it, even if they are a villain. Basically it's just inherited priviledge. Yet another argument for getting rid of the peer / honours system imo...

Actually it was a thread about Tory corruption. The much-loved Lord Archer also got a mention, though Neil Hamilton didn't (until now that is).

I feel the same way about him as his sister does! She has got her head screwed on correctly I think.
