13 previous convictions
Reported offense committed whilst on bail
Four grand's worth of stolen goods on just that one job!
...and the ****** only gets eleven months (thus probably out in six)
If I was in charge it would be...
Hard labour in prison paying the national minimum wage (don't want to infringe his human rights ) until he has earned enough to pay off ALL of the goods that he had ever stolen, plus associated costs wrt the other thefts, plus ALL the costs of court cases against him, PLUS all tax that he would have paid if he was earning an honest wage, plus all the costs of keeping him in prison for however long he is in there. THEN, after all that was done he could start his actual sentence (and a damn site longer than 11 months) with no remission, and after that he could start some rehabilitation (again, paid for by himself) which if he passed would let him be freed (under supervision and with approval and permission from all the injured parties).
Oh, and for a second offense, the words "Thieving ****" would be tattoo-ed on his forehead.
That might stop him re-offending (and getting convicted) thirteen more times!!!

In prison forever, hmmm, there's a suggestion.
Full marks to the bloke for setting the system up though, cracking idea.
Wouldn't common sense suggest that if you commit an offence while out on bail, etc, and you are convicted, you should have to serve your full sentence. Otherwise there's no extra punishment for comitting an offence while on bail.
What do you do with persistent offenders, there must come apoint when the 3 strikes and you're out principle starts to make sense

So i couldn't give a stuff if he was banged up forever - indeed i would very much prefer it to keep ignorant, ugly, selfish, uncaring scum like him off the streets (and out of our houses and cars)!!
