What a tune.
I liked it just to listen to but after hearing the story behind it when they were in the live lounge on Radio 1 a while back I have a whole new appreciation for it.
I dont have kids yet but there is a whole lot of feeling in that song that you can really relate to

Having gone through a similar thing just before Christmas I fully appreciate the lyrics in this song. I love the song but it does bring back some very painful memories. However, like the song, there was a happy ending.

I like the single, although it does remind me of Pink Floyd a wee bit...anybody else think so? onder2:

Makes me think they've been listening to Pink Floyd Animals album a fair bit - similar feel to that era Floyd

Apparantly to do with the lead singers baby daughter nearly dieing from a seizure just after they got her home from hospital.

wires is a great track, but i find the rest of the album a bit hit and miss. i much prefer vehicles and animals

Just listened to the whole album - definetly 'a grower'. I see what some people have said about the Pink Floyd influences - no bad thing IMHO.

I didn't mean it negatively, quite the opposite infact. I might get the album now though.

Good tune, lots of this type of material about at the minute, think the music industry aint been this good for years

Great tune, although I was dissapointed with the rest of the album - maybe I should give it a few more listens....
