Question Flat Rental pcm question

Haven't rented for ages so need advice. Daughter has seen student flat she wants to rent. 3-bedroom advertised at £310 pcm. I said this was for flat which is usual way of advertising and not per person charge which she seems to think it is. What do you think? I haven't seen papers yet but she has to commit herself first thing tomorrow. Actually £310 pcm is cheap for area but 3 x £310 is bloody expensive so even more confusing. Quick comments appreciated. David

stupid link removed!

Seems too cheap.

Where is it? If it's in the middle of a war torn area, then it's for the whole flat. If not, then it's per person.

Your link is a link to your system, by the way!

Yep it's usually done per person for students. To serve as some comparison, in Sheffield (meant to be one of the cheapest student cities going) typical places are £220-260pcm/person plus bills; so £310 is good for Bristol if it's a decent flat/location and includes bills, maybe a bit pricey if it's plus bills.

Yes that does help a lot so thanks.

I just didn't realise that they were priced that way with no mention in the ad of "per person". I'm told it's a great location for uni (Clifton?) and a nice flat but bills are extra....... Plus they have to pay for summer when they are not there but I think that is standard stuff and understandable I suppose. David
