Endowment claim?
Anyone know the cut-off date for claiming on a miss-sold endomment?
We took ours out in Aug/Sept 1998 and have been told that you cannot claim that far back, only post 1989.
Anyone know if this is true? I've done some web searches but can't see anything about cut-off dates.

When I was working at one of the larger companies that sold the endowments a while ago the cut off day we used was known as A-Day which in April 1988, i cant remember the exact date though.

Claims as far back as April 1988 are covered by FSA guidelines. Claims previous to that can still be made, but there is no system in place to deal with them, so you need to make a bit more effort
