Watched a (2004?) film called Laurel Canyon on DVD the other day, really enjoyed it. Bit arthousey but I'm a pretentious git anyway plus it had Kate Beckinsdale in it who I'd watch talking about ironing for 2 hours!

Excellent. This gives me a 'to watch list' as I'm fast running out of 'chart films' to watch.

Oceans 12 - I keep trying to convince IM that I need to see it as its deep and complex plots and sub plots entwine with it's ability to demonstrate the existentialist qualities of human expression and the profound inevitability of the dichotemy of a life given over to crime.

He thinks I just want to go and ogle all the male totty. As if......

Oceans 12 wasn't really that impressive, plot all over the place, jazzy headache inducing camera angles and looked like it was trying a bit too hard.

I think Closer is probably the best one I've seen in the last couple of months.

Will have to BTTT this for Karl

Meet the fockers - very funny follow up to meet the parents.

Man on fire - excellent.

The aviator - surprisingly good.

Bourne Supremacy - apart from the camera spins

Watched quite a few recently:

Team America was quite funny
Meet The Fockers was funnier
The Incredibles
The Station Agent
Garden State
In Good Company so-so (Scarlett Johanssen )
Million Dollar Baby (just watched v. good)

Two films I'd care not to remember is Taxi (2004) & Closer, suprised with myself that I never switched either off after first 15 mins although a certain Natalie Portman scene kept me watching
