Did anyone see Panorama on Sunday http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programme...ma/4225827.stm it gave a quite disturbing at times insight into what had caused many people to offend. I don't think I could have witnessed a more compelling reason to end child abuse for good, then to see the living hell some of the people have had to endure since the abuse was perpertrated against them. The impact abuse and its perpetrators have on Society should not be underestimated. People convicted of a serious sexual offence on children should be in Prision for life. The way in which the Police could not be arsed to follow up on possible leads was really sickening to see. I expect if they was able to give three points and a fine for each offence then there would be a better clear up rate...

Its easy...too friggin soft!

Chop your hands off for stealing....no one steals from shops or homes
Get kneecapped for joyriding...no one steals cars

One of the ppl abused as a child gave info about who one of the abusers was and the police said they could not find them. Panorama used the same info and tracked the guy down to a Bar in France. A few other mistakes as well.
