Iv come to that stage in my live where the girlfriend and I want to get a JOINT savings account
Does anybody have any good recommendations for a savings account?
Please not Barclays cuz the lazy Bankers dont open my local branch on Sats

ING can actually be done as telephone banking and you dont need internet access at all.
However, best bet is to check and see if you can get a good rate e account linked to your individual accounts so that you can both have internet access for transfer. e.g. Abbey National E saver or whoever you bank with.

Natwest's online-banking-only saver offers quite a good rate.
