Question WHICH CAMCORDER

Hello,

Been looking at various mini camcorder/digital camera combinations. Looked at various Sony reviews, but they seem to vary from site to site. Any recommendations please?

Thanks a lot

I have the sony that uses the mini DVDs and its ace. Not too expesnive either-0 a bit heavier than a lot of the tiny ones but its just so much easier being able to put the disk straight in your PC or DVD player.

We have the Sony DCR-TRV33E and it's a great little camcorder - does everything we need even if it is now starting to get a bit outdated - see the post above about using the mini-DVDs straight into the PC/DVD player...that's a very handy option. I haven't looked at camcorders recently but if and when we decide to change the TRV33E for something else, we'll be looking for something with the same quality and specifications, but with a mini-DVD for recording.

Thumbs up

We got a Sanyo Xacti C4 from Ebay for £220. It records onto an SD and is realy small. it can also be used as a 4MPixel still camera. We are rely please with it. It is so small it is can be carried in your pocket without any problem. We were finding that we were not using our bigger camera as it was to big to lug around. Only downside is it's low light performance is not brilliant however it is ok.
