Decent Multi Gum, such a thing?
Its too much of a mission getting to a gym, so I wanted to get a basic multi gym for around £300.
Im not looking for anything professional, its just to do a keep fit/tone up sort of routine, just something you can get a good all over workout from.
Thing is, multi gyms seem to get slated as being not much use, so are they any good at around £300? or would I be wasting my money?

They get slated because you use them for a week and then hang your clothes on them for the rest of the year.
You'll find plenty in the Argos catalogue.

Buy a set of free weights (dumb/barbells). You can do so much more with them, get better results, save money and then shove them under the bed when you're done.
When I first started training I used to use the resistance machines at the gym, when I started to use the free weights I saw better results and didn't get the knotted, twisted or strained muscles that the restrictive machines cause.

You'll never get "fit" with a multigym although you could tone-up and build strength if it has some decent weight.
As suggested, get some free weights and you can do some circuit training as well as general weight lifting.
